Everton and Wolverhampton Wanderers are showing interest in Werder Bremen’s Justin Njinmah thanks to his impressive performances this season.
That’s according to Kicker, who say both clubs are in the mix for the 23-year-old, who is Werder’s second top goalscorer this season.
He’s managed six goals and two assists in 24 games in the Bundesliga this campaign, a tally made more impressive by the fact that he’s only played in 36% of the available minutes thanks to injuries.
The German club want to extend his contract due to his displays but interest from England, Spain and the Bundesliga could make that difficult.
According to Kicker’s information, Everton and Wolves have put the winger ‘on their list’ of options and the same applies to Villarreal. No clubs from the Bundesliga are named but there is interest.
The forward, who can play all across the front three positions, has earned attention thanks to his speed, something he’s now coupled with goals and assists.
This season has been the one in which he’s really become a Bundesliga player and both Everton and Wolves could be ready to make their moves as a result.
There’s no mention of how much Werder may demand for their player, he’s currently valued at €9m by the likes of Transfermarkt, but the interest is there in the 23-year-old and he could be a name to now keep an eye on moving forwards.
