Jesper Lindstrom is currently in Liverpool and ‘barring an unforeseen circumstances’, will sign his contract with Everton today.
That’s according to Calcio Napoli 24, who report that the winger could sign with Everton today and even be announced at some point this evening.
They report that Lindstrom had already landed in Liverpool, which was reported yesterday, after Everton struck an agreement with Napoli for a loan deal worth €3-4m that includes a right to buy valued at €21-22m.
The deal between two clubs has been quickly worked out this week and once it was made clear Antonio Conte didn’t want the player, it emerged he had given his approval to a move to Everton.
A report yesterday claimed he had already flown in to Liverpool for a medical with the Toffees and CN24 follow that up, reporting Lindstrom is on Merseyside and barring any unforeseen circumstances, will sign his contract with the Toffees today.
Indeed, the transfer is progressing at such a speed that there is a chance Everton could announce his signing this evening.
That remains to be seen but there is an almost resolute confidence that this deal is now done, and the Blues have got their latest addition to Sean Dyche’s squad over the line.
