Udinese are likely to accept an offer of €25m for striker Beto if Everton move for him again in the summer transfer window.
That’s according to agent Claudio Pasqualin, who believes such a figure would be an “irresistible temptation” for the Udinese owners.
Beto was linked with Everton throughout the January transfer window when the Blues were desperately trying to find an alternative to Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
They couldn’t get a deal over the line, with Udinese rejecting a late bid as they did not want to lose a key player mid-way through the season.
It’s believed Everton will come back for the striker in the summer, though, with them still desperate to sign a striker, particularly if they manage to avoid relegation from the Premier League.
If they do move for him a second time it is likely they will look to do a deal at the €25m mark, which has long been Udinese’s value of the forward.
And according to Pasqualin, if they were to offer such a figure, the Pozzo family, who own Udinese, would find it hard to turn down.
“The Pozzo’s are the best in Europe at deciding when it’s time to sell,” he told Messaggero Veneto.
“But if the €25m Everton offered was confirmed, I think it would be an irresistible temptation in relation to the potential initially shown and the limits highlighted so far.”
