On Monday, AS reported Everton have become the latest club to ask for information about UD Almería’s Largie Ramazani.
The winger has a €40m release clause and the La Liga side have told the Toffees they need to pay this fee to take him away from the club in January.
After the reports of Everton’s interest in the 21-year-old surfaced, Estadio Deportivo got in touch with his entourage for an update.
They insisted the player is happy at the club and above all, grateful to Almería, however, that doesn’t mean a potential deal cannot take place.
From Ramazani’s environment, they have ‘assured’ Estadio Deportivo that if an offer from the Merseyside club were to arrive, he would ‘say yes to the proposal’. His camp has also hinted the attacker’s long-term future could be away from the Spanish club.
The Belgium U21 international’s contract lasts until 2025 and Estadio Deportivo also explain Almería continue to refer to his €40m clause, even though it’s almost certain they wouldn’t get such an amount.
Ramazani has two goals from 16 matches in all competitions this season.
