Jesper Lindstrom picked up a groin injury some weeks ago and his season at Everton seems to be over.

The Napoli loanee had a few impressive moments for the Toffees and gave a fair reflection of his abilities, but failed to find the back of the net even once in all competitions.

Tuttomercatoweb have looked at his future and they state that while Everton have the option to buy the Dane permanently for a fee of €23m, they have not come forward to express their desire to exercise it.

And now, Napoli are growing convinced that the possibility of the versatile attacker returning to them in the summer is quite high. It is already clear to them that Lindstrom is out of their technical project, which is why the loan move to Everton was initially allowed.

The Partenopei’s goal, as a result, would be to find a new club for him. They believe that the Denmark international can make the cut in the Premier League and are hoping that some clubs from England come forward for him.

On top of that, criticism is aimed at the deal involving Everton and doubts are raised about whether it helped Lindstrom or not.
