Earlier this month, we relayed news from Italy that Everton are among the admirers for Empoli’s Fabiano Parisi.
The left-back has made 14 league starts this season, scoring two goals in the process. His performances for the Serie A side have not gone unnoticed.
According to Pianeta Empoli, the 22-year-old has received interest from several clubs, and this includes Everton.
In Italy, Napoli, Juventus, Inter Milan, Lazio, Fiorentina and Torino have all showed interest in the defender. He also has suitors from abroad with OGC Nice in the picture to sign him since the summer window.
Apart from the Ligue 1 side, VfL Wolfsburg and the Toffees ‘seem to be serious’ about Parisi. It’s explained these two sides could ‘present official offers’ for the Italy U21 international.
Empoli have no intention to part ways with the player in the winter market but can start talks with clubs interested in Parisi over a potential deal for next summer. The fee could be around €15m.
It remains to be seen whether Everton can get ahead of other clubs in the race to sign Parisi.
