PSV Eindhoven youngster Joël Piroe has impressed with his displays while playing in the Eerste Divisie, the second tier of football in the Netherlands.

The forward has netted 10 goals and registered two assists in 19 appearances and his form for the U21 side has seen him draw attention from a few clubs across the continent.

According to Calciomercato, the 19-year-old has emerged as a target for Juventus and the Old Lady are planning to sign him on a free transfer since his contract with the Dutch club will expire in the summer.

It is claimed the Turin club will face ‘strong competition’ from Italy and England as Inter Milan and Everton are also chasing the youngster.

Calciomercato end their report by explaining the teenager is a ‘young and concrete option’ for Juventus.

There is not much detail about the interest from the Merseyside club nor a suggestion if the Toffees have stepped up their efforts in beating Juventus and Inter to signing Piroe.

He is yet to make his debut with the first team and is currently playing for PSV’s U21 side.
