Everton and Fulham are interested in signing Fenerbahçe’s Ferdi Kadıoğlu in the summer window, according to a report.
Operating mainly as a right-back, but also capable as a left-back, he managed four goals and five assists from 48 matches last season.
Fulham, who have closely followed the defender, intend to add him to their squad next season. That’s according to Milliyet, who say the London club would have to battle it out with Everton to sign the 23-year-old.
The report states the Merseyside club are ‘preparing to come up with a serious offer’ for the Turkey international. They say the proposal could be around €20m. This may allow the Toffees to get ahead of Marco Silva’s side in the transfer race.
Kadıoğlu has a deal until 2026 and it’s stated the Yellow Submarine would want to retain him in their squad. At the same time, Milliyet claim their leaders could sanction his sale in this window, if there’s a convincing proposal.
Although Fulham are interested in the player, there’s no mention on whether they intend to make an offer to Fenerbahçe.
