With Yerry Mina seeing his contract with Everton expiring in a couple of months, it seems he’s already making moves to sort his next destination.
According to reports from the Turkish media, the 28-year-old could be on his way to Fenerbahce this summer.
It’s outlet Takvim who features a list of targets the Istanbul club have for the next transfer market, and the Everton defender is mentioned there.
Mina himself even seems interested in the move, because according to the story, he asked former Besiktas player Oscar Cordoba about more information on the Turkish league.
Yerry Mina only has four appearances for Everton this season, and it’s already been made clear the Colombian will be leaving on a free at the end of the season.
We’ve recently seen reports from Brazil claiming that local clubs are interested in signing him as a free agent, but even though his entourage didn’t rule out a comeback to the South American country, they claimed they’ll evaluate the options in the coming months.
So perhaps Fenerbahce’s offer of keeping him in Europe could be attractive enough for the defender.
