Last summer, Sevilla’s Juanlu Sánchez received interest from a few clubs including Everton, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Napoli. A transfer never materialised and he’s still at the La Liga side. They are looking to cash in from his sale in the winter market.

Last week, we covered claims from Spain that Everton have revived their interest in the right-back. Orgullo Biri, a source close to Sevilla, stated David Moyes’ side have made contact to ask about his contract situation.

Vamos Mi Sevilla FC now cover the latest on Everton and Napoli reviving interest in the 22-year-old.

The Andalusian club have to raise funds before bringing in new faces during January. Rubén Vargas’ latest fitness setback has ruled out his exit, lowering Sevilla’s options to sell. The report points out they need to raise at least €10m to ‘operate freely’.

Everton and Napoli interest in Juanlu would certainly please Sevilla. According to the report, the Toffees’ bid to sign him is ‘imminent’. They are ‘ready to put forward an offer’ that would unblock Sevilla’s window.

It’s claimed the Merseyside club are ready to offer €12m plus easily achievable bonuses to sign the Spaniard. This should please Sevilla as it’ll help them improve their finances.

Everton offer would boost Sevilla’s winter market

Juanlu Sanchez
Seville, Spain; 02-09-2025: LaLiga EA Sports (J23): Sevilla FC – FC Barcelona. Everton target Juanlu Sanchez.

Vamos Mi Sevilla FC have found out from their own sources that Antonio Conte’s side have also returned for Juanlu. Napoli want to sign him on loan with an obligation to buy.

The Spanish club are willing to accept that if there are no conditions attached and the fee is paid before June 30th.

Vamos Mi Sevilla FC state: ‘The next few hours will be crucial in determining whether Everton formalises the offer that would change the course of Sevilla’s winter transfer window.’

Sevilla dearly want an offer from either Everton or Napoli, so it needs to be kept in mind that their local media may well be trying to manifest that into existence.

ABC Sevilla, meanwhile, push Napoli interest, and whilst Everton coming forward is welcomed, they don’t have independent information on that.

Everton may not have an issue reaching an agreement with Sevilla. They would then have to convince the player to pick them over Napoli.
