After many, many, and we mean many links to Tottenham, it appears Malcom could be heading to Everton this summer.

According to L’Equipe on Wednesday, the Toffees and Bordeaux have been in talks for the Brazilian forward, and while no formal offer has been made as of yet, the negotiations have gone well enough to expect a ‘quick resolution’.

After all, it’s a pretty straightforward scenario: the Ligue 1 side want €40m, and if any club wants the young forward, they have to pay that amount.

It’s worth pointing out that by ‘quick resolution’, the French newspaper mean the deal could go through towards the end of this week or the beginning of the next.

Currently under contract with Bordeaux until 2021, Malcom was the club’s star last season, carrying the team on his back at times, especially during the early stages of the campaign, scoring 12 goals and picking up seven assists in 35 league appearances.
