Atlético-MG want negotiations for striker Alisson to start at €10m, with Everton and two other clubs circling the youngster.
That’s according to GOAL Brazil, who report that the Brazilian club are not putting a definitive value on the player as interest in him grows.
They know that there is more than one interested party for the striker this summer, including Everton, who have been linked over the last week.
At the moment they are not publicly defining a value for the player or making it clear how much a departure would cost. However, they have made it clear negotiations will have to start at €10m according to GOAL’s information.
That is the minimum amount they’ll even start talking at and Everton, alongside two other clubs, have presumably been made aware of this fact.
People close to the striker are insisting that Atlético-MG have a formal proposal on the table. The club’s management, though, are denying that and insisting there is no official offer for now.
Alisson has a contract with Cidade do Galo until December 31st, 2027, and that includes a termination clause of €60m. Reports this week had linked Everton with potentially paying that figure, which was roundly rejected.
In reality that clause is to protect the athlete from ‘potential targets abroad’ and Everton, plus his other suitors, can actually start negotiations for much lower.
