Earlier this week, Filip Djuricic was linked with a move to the Premier League, or a return, having spent time with Southampton, on loan from Benfica, in 2015.

That loan didn’t go well, and the player then went on a journey which has seen him end up at Sassuolo. Given some of the comments during and after his time with Southampton, it was a surprise to see the Italian media credit the Saints with interest.

West Ham were also thrown into the picture, and now Calciomercato name both David Moyes’ side and Southampton, and also add Everton into the mix.

This interest all seems rather fortunate for the 29-year-old, and with Everton added, the thought of three Premier League clubs tussling for Djuricic just seems hard to believe.

The player’s contract expires at the end of the current season, so clearly there are agents at work behind the scenes.

Therefore, it could be assumed that despite claims of Everton, West Ham and Southampton being interested in his signing, it’s instead agents presenting the possibility to them.
