Juventus are increasingly confident of securing a deal for Everton striker Moise Kean, with the chances of the move happening ‘increasing day by day’.
That’s what Tuttosport report today, stating that the Italian ‘will the fourth’ striker in Andrea Pirlo’s squad next season.
Kean has been heavily linked with a return to Turin this summer, having endured a difficult first season at Goodison Park.
Juve are keen to have him back and his agent Mino Raiola is said to be working on deal, although Everton are not all that keen to let the youngster go.
They state that Everton are ‘not entirely satisfied’ with Kean and thus could sanction a move so that he could either get himself back on track or ‘get something’ out of a future sale.
Juventus are happy to take him back as they ‘know well’ how to manage Kean and are betting on his desire to prove a point after his disappointing first year in England.
Thus, they are willing to wait until the end of September to get a deal done, with it suggested a loan with no obligation to buy would be on the cards.
That, though, makes no sense. It’s already been widely reported in Italy that Everton aren’t interested in a loan deal and there’s no reason why that would change.
Kean is very much a part of Carlo Ancelotti’s plans, and there would be no logic in them letting him go, particularly in a deal that is entirely beneficial for Juventus and not to themselves.
Of course, that stance may change if Everton were to get themselves another striker in the coming weeks, but until that happens, these Kean rumours feel like nothing more than speculation.
