Last summer, Everton had interest in FC Midtjylland’s Franculino Djú but didn’t make any serious advances. The Premier League side sent a scout to watch him live in action in August.

The Toffees haven’t forgotten about the striker and are still keen on signing him. Earlier this week, Bold.dk reported Everton and Bayern Munich scouts have followed him this season.

Another Danish outlet, PL Bold, reports an Everton official has recently watched Franculino Djú. They aren’t the only club as the Bundesliga winners and Inter Milan scouts are also keeping an eye on him.

Indkast reports a Bayern Munich scout was in attendance at the MCH Arena to follow the Danish club’s Europa League clash against Celtic on Thursday. They made no mention of David Moyes’ side.

The Guinea-Bissau international scored in the 3-1 win over Celtic yesterday. With that, he’s taken his overall tally to 18 goals and three assists from 25 matches this season.

Franculino Djú has a contract until 2029. With Everton, Bayern Munich and others circling around him, Midtjylland manager Mike Tullberg has warned his side not to sell him or any other player in January. PL Bold have relayed his comments.

“I have told the club that I want my players to stay, and I do not assume that anyone will change. There are no FCM players who will move to Bayern Munich. They will change to Dortmund, if that is the case,” he said.

This comes days after Midtjylland sporting director Kristian Bach Bak said the striker will receive interest in the winter market.
