Jurgen Klopp is keen on signing an attacking player in this transfer window, with Mario Gotze at the top of his wishlist.
Southampton’s Sadio Mane has also been linked to the Merseyside club, but Klopp could be interested in one of Liverpool’s long term targets too.
According to Germany’s Rheinische Post, several top clubs in Europe would be keeping an eye on Andriy Yarmolenko during the Euros, and one of them could be Liverpool.
Everton are also said to be interested in signing Yarmolenko, as new owner Farhad Moshiri is determined to spend money on quality players this summer.
The Dynamo Kyiv winger signed a contract extension last year, and has four years left in his current deal.
Rheinische Post reckon Liverpool could offer as much as €30m for the 26-year-old, who should also be tempted by the chance of playing for the Anfield club.
Interestingly, Andriy Yarmolenko’s agent, Vadim Shabliy, was at Liverpool’s London office a month ago, and he confirmed it through a post on Instagram.
Yarmolenko has 19 goals and 13 assists to his name in 34 appearances this season, and could be a good signing for most Premier League clubs.
