Everton, Leicester City and Southampton are all talking to Espanyol striker Martin Braithwaite about a potential move this summer.
That’s according to Tipsbladet, who report that Everton, Leicester and Southampton have all spoken to the Denmark striker, who is set to be a free agent until later this month.
They explain that Braithwaite is an ‘extremely favourable position’ at this moment in time as he is available on a free until July 15th.
He has clubs interested in him as a result and is ‘in dialogue’ with several Premier League clubs about a potential transfer.
Everton, Leicester and Southampton are named specifically while there are several other unnamed clubs reportedly considering a move for the 33-year-old. Espanyol are also keen on getting him signed to a new deal.
Braithwaite has hired super-agent Pini Zahavi to look after his interests this summer and he is working while the forward is on holiday after the end of the season.
Last season was a prolific one for Braithwaite, with him managing 22 goals in La Liga 2 for Espanyol, making him the top goal scorer in the division.
That wasn’t enough to earn him a place in the Denmark squad for Euro 2024 but has drawn up interest, particularly in the Premier League, where Everton, Leicester and Southampton have all already made moves to at least speak to him and his advisors.
