Everton and Leeds are ‘hot on’ RB Leipzig midfielder Tyler Adams, and a move to the Premier League could ‘happen very quickly’.
That’s according to BILD, who say the German side are already eyeing up replacements for the 23-year-old.
The report that Everton and Leeds are keen on Adams, who still has a contract with the Bundesliga side until 2025.
Leipzig, though, are open to a sale for a fee of €12-15m at least and are already eyeing up replacements for manager Domenico Tedesco.
He’s been planning on trimming down the squad this summer anyway, preferring to work with a streamlined group rather than an inflated one. As such, Adams and teammate Amadou Haidara are very much up for sale.
Indeed, Adams is ‘on the verge of leaving’, and both Everton and Leeds are keen to take him to the Premier League if they can.
There’s no mention of whether either side have made a firm bid at this moment in time, but it is suggested a deal could happen quickly, so that would hint at work going on behind the scenes.
Indeed, Leipzig looking at replacements suggests they think something will happen sooner rather than later, so Adams’ name is certainly one to keep an eye on.
