Everton have ‘intensified contacts’ with AS Roma for midfielder Edoardo Bove in the last few hours, showing an eagerness to ‘negotiate quickly’ for him.
That’s according to Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that Everton are stepping up their interest in the midfielder after being named as an interested party again this week.
They say that Everton have ‘made another move’ for Bove, who Roma value at €15m at this moment in time.
The Blues had been linked with a move for him earlier in the window, particularly when the Friedkins appeared close to taking over at Goodison Park, but the idea cooled down when that takeover collapsed.
Everton spent their summer investing elsewhere in the squad but are yet to find a replacement for Amadou Onana. Reports this week reignited their interest in the midfielder and Gazzetta continue that.
They say Everton have made another move for Bove and have ‘intensified contacts’ with Roma over the last few hours.
They’ve shown a willing to negotiate a deal for him quickly before the end of the transfer window this month. Fiorentina and Fulham are also keeping an eye on him but yet to take any concrete steps.
