Fulham and Everton both reportedly sent scouts to the Portuguese league match between Vitória de Setúbal and Porto on Saturday.

The current league champions got an important three points with a 2-0 away win, and keep trying to reach Benfica at the top of the table.

Porto’s goals were scored by Sergio Oliveira and Vincent Aboubakar. The striker’s name may sound familiar to Everton fans, as the club were linked to him in 2017. He’s one of Porto’s players who’s frequently involved in transfer rumours, especially Premier League stories.

On Fulham’s side, it’s worth recalling that they were linked to Hector Herrera. He’s captained Porto in this game, and had a regular performance. As his contract expires at the end of the season, we can expect a lot of new rumours showing up in the next few months.

Back to midfielder Sérgio Oliveira, who scored from a free-kick, it seems he has finally found his best form at Porto, and was picked as the man of the match by the local press. For Vitória, winger Berto had an impressive performance and was much praised.

Scouts from Shakhtar Donetsk, Atletico Madrid and Sevilla have all travelled to watch this match as well.
