Everton with eye on three excellent young talents as Koeman prepares for summer

 

Everton were linked with Dennis Praet repeatedly before the attacking midfielder eventually left Anderlecht for Sampdoria. Attending a few Anderlecht matches, it was assumed, and likely with good reason, that Everton were interested in Praet or his teammate Youri Tielemans, perhaps both.

With 22 year old Praet now largely out of the news since his summer Sampdoria switch, it’s the Tielemans links which continue, with the player himself agreeing that Everton could be just the right kind of club for his next move.

However, Praet to Everton may be set for a revival. Italy’s Tuttomercatoweb reports the Premier League club will have a scout watch Sampdoria play Inter Milan on Sunday. TMW claim Everton will be watching Lucas Torreira, Dennis Praet and Patrik Schick.

Out of the three, Uruguayan midfielder Torreira has been the standout this season, so the 21 year old would be most deserving of Ronald Koeman interest. Schick is a 21 year old Czech striker with 9 goals to his name during the current campaign.
