Everton have shown a ‘desire’ to negotiate a move for striker Beto, reigniting their interest in him as the search for a striker goes on.
That’s according to TuttoMercatoWeb, who back up reports from earlier today that Everton are once again looking at the Portuguese forward.
A report earlier today indicated that Everton had again turned their attention towards Beto as they continue their long search for the striker that Sean Dyche’s squad desperately needs.
TMW now follow that up and explain that some time ago they had their eye on Beto and, as far as they have been able to gather, he is once again a name they are ‘keen on’.
The Toffees have ‘expressed a clear desire’ to try and sign the 25-year-old and with time running out in the transfer window, it is likely that a ‘real negotiation’ will take place sooner rather than later.
How much they are willing to spend and how much Udinese would want for him isn’t mentioned but there is a belief the Italian side will have to decide what to do at some point and there is a distinct feeling their two-year relationship with Beto could end this summer.
