Everton are edging closer to signing Iliman Ndiaye from Marseille, the French media says.
FootMercato today writes that the clubs are about to reach a ‘total agreement’ for the 24-year-old.
It’s said Everton had already made a first attempt earlier this month, and that was turned down by Marseille. Now they’re back with a new offer and that’s about to provide a happy ending.
FootMercato didn’t manage to find out how much the Toffees put on the table in any of the bids, but they sound sure that the deal is moving forward.
The outlet claims there are still some details to be sorted between Everton and Marseille, but ‘barring a huge twist’, the player is joining the Toffees this summer and has given his approval to the move.

The report claims that Everton had already been interested back then, with him choosing the French club instead. Now with a little insistence, the Toffees are finally about to bring him to Goodison Park.
