Everton have identified Juventus’ Federico Gatti as a target for the summer, according to reports from Italy.
At the weekend, Serie B News reported the Toffees are considering signing the 24-year-old, who is valued at €30m by the Old Lady.
Everton wanting to sign the centre-back is now backed up by Tutto Juve, who also provide more on this case.
The defender has made nine league starts this season and has been in and out of the starting lineup, before making three starts in the last three matches.
Juventus have no intention to sell the Italy international, who has a deal lasting until 2027. They would have to receive an ‘indecent proposal’ to change their stance on him.
The Serie A side would need around €30m to sanction Gatti’s sale while Sean Dyche’s side could ‘offer around €10m’ for the Italian. Juve are unlikely to sell Gatti to Everton for this figure, considering they are ‘betting a lot on him’.
