Everton are among the admirers for Empoli full-back Fabiano Parisi, but face competition from Torino and Wolfsburg for his signature.
That’s according to La Stampa, relayed by Torino Granata, who name Everton as one of the interested parties in the defender today.
They explain that Torino manager Ivan Juric is on the hunt for the ‘right full-back’ for his team and Parisi is considered the ‘perfect profile’ as he is one who can also turn into an added winger.
He has been linked with Torino for some time, but the Italian side know there is competition for his signature.
The Empoli full-back has ‘admirers’ in Everton in the Premier League, as well as Wolfsburg from the Bundesliga, and also Lazio inside Italy.
However, the Granata club have ‘very good relations’ with Empoli after an earlier deal for midfielder Samuele Ricci and they could repeat that operation.
That transfer saw them paying €2m immediately for a loan deal and then €8m to finalise the deal in the summer transfer window.
It seems, then, Everton may have to move quickly if their interest is genuine, with Torino also keen and ready to move with a transfer plan in mind.
