Premier League duo Tottenham and West Ham have been told they have no chance of signing Allan from Napoli, as he’s joining Everton.

The Toffees have been linked with a move for the Brazilian midfielder since January, with it believed Carlo Ancelotti has identified him as the perfect addition to his midfield.

The two clubs have been negotiating a deal for the best part of two months, with them yet to reach a final agreement over an price.

The Blues were not the only side chasing his signature, with Tottenham and West Ham both named as suitors too.

However, a move to Everton appeared the most likely when the player made it clear he wanted a reunion with Carlo Ancelotti over anything else.

A deal with the Blues is yet to be finalised, although a report today stated the two clubs are now just €2m away from reaching an agreement.

The tone from several sources has been that a deal is a foregone conclusion and will happen at some point and now Italian journalist Ciro Venerato has put a timescale on the deal.

“Allan to Everton? Napoli asked for €30m plus €5m linked to bonuses,” he told Calcio Napoli 24 Live.

“There could be a discount on the instalments or on the achievements of bonuses, which could be more difficult.

“In the first ten days of September, Allan will become an Everton player: it is on the player’s contract, we are at €3.5m euros plus half a million linked to bonuses.

“It is an operation that will be done, details on bonuses and commissions are filed.

“I get word that Napoli has already communicated to Tottenham, Atlético Madrid and West Ham that the player will go to Everton.”
