Yesterday, we covered a report from Gazzetta dello Sport about Atalanta’s interest in Everton striker Beto and that La Dea were looking to offer El Bilal Toure as part of a move.
There seems to have been a hitch in the attempt very early on, with Everton acting cold about a potential sale of the striker.
Calciomercato have reported today that Beto is part of Atalanta’s ‘wishlist’ because of his physical attributes.
However, the move is being held back by Everton, who are presenting as an ‘obstacle’ in front of La Dea’s approach. Essentially, Sean Dyche doesn’t want to lose the player and the Toffees won’t play ball.
As a result, Atalanta’s potential move for Roma’s Tammy Abraham is gaining traction.
It was reported by Gazzetta dello Sport yesterday that the possibility of a swap involving Beto and El Bilal Toure could prove to be an attractive one for both the players.
Both have the same amount of time left on their contracts, as they joined their respective clubs last summer. For now though, an Everton exit for Beto isn’t quite taking off.
