Justin Kluivert has impressed for Bournemouth this season.

He has 12 goals in all competitions and has grabbed two hat-tricks already in the Premier League.

The winger got a goal and assist at the weekend against Nottingham Forest, helping Bournemouth to an impressive 5-0 win. He scored the opening goal in the game and assisted the second.

The Dutchman has spoken to De Telegraaf about the win over Nuno Espirito Santo’s side and described the club’s second goal as a ‘beautiful’ one, which mirrors his thoughts on Bournemouth generally.

He told the outlet: “That second goal was really beautiful.

“When I look back: the assist I gave was the Justin Kluivert of Ajax, who played left wing and always dared to look for his man. The first goal was a striker’s goal. All in all, I have become a mix of all the positions I have played in. That’s why I think it’s difficult to defend myself.”

Kluivert was also asked about the superb season that Bournemouth are having and he stated his belief that the club should look to qualify for Europe as a ‘secret’ aim.

“We have shown that we are even good enough for European football. Secretly I think we should go for that. The supporters of this club have never seen a team do so well. That makes it even more beautiful, right?”

As of now, Andoni Iraola’s side are seventh in the table but are only four points behind third-placed Nottingham Forest and only one point behind fourth-placed Manchester City.

They have beaten both the sides rather convincingly this season and have also beaten fifth-placed Newcastle United, holding Arsenal and Chelsea to draws.

Bournemouth face Liverpool next and the game could speak volumes for their European credentials.
