NtvSpor have reported Galatasaray are still hopeful of signing Stoke City’s Gianelli Imbula before the window closes.
It’s been claimed Galatasaray are down to two midfield candidates to sign this summer, and along with Imbula, Marseille’s William Vainqeur is an option.
It’s been well documented that Imbula could leave Stoke City before the start of next season, and French side Nice are also showing an interest in the player.
Nice are looking to replace the likely-to-be-leaving Jean-Michael Seri this summer, and the Stoke City player is a target for the Ligue 1 side. However, Galatasaray are still hoping they can come to an agreement over a loan deal, and the Turkish club are confident the player will choose them over Nice.
It’s also been reported in France, via L’Equipe on Tuesday, that Nice have concerns over the player’s wages, and what percentage they are prepared to cover if they loan him from Stoke City.
