AmkSpor have today claimed Galatasaray are set for a tough fight with Celtic over Chelsea midfielder Mario Pasalic.

It’s recently been widely reported in the Turkish media that Galatasaray are interested in bringing Pasalic to the Turk Telekom Arena, but AMK say they have to beat Brendan Rodgers’ Celtic to get their man.

Pasalic spent last season on loan at AC Milan, where he scored 5 goals in 26 appearances. The midfielder is now expected to move to another club this summer, with Galatasaray and Celtic looking to move in on the Croatian.

The 22-year-old impressed the Galatasaray board with his performances for AC Milan last season, and the Turkish giants could be lining up a bid for the Chelsea youngster.

Celtic manager Rodgers is also in the market for a midfielder in this window, and Pasalic is a target for the Scottish Premiership champions, report AMKSPor.

Pasalic’s agent Marko Naletelic recently confirmed his client has received multiple offers, and they’ll decide on his future soon.
