Nottingham Forest fullback Neco Williams has drawn the interest from Feyenoord, according to reports from the Dutch media.

Outlet 1908.nl today features a story pointing out that the Eredivisie side are keen on landing him on a loan deal from the Tricky Trees.

It’s said William’s name was ‘submitted’ to Feyenoord’s scouting department, and the Nottingham Forest player was considered ‘relatively feasible’ for the club.

There are just no details on how advanced the talks for the move are, as it sounds like the Dutch side only have the name on their table for now.

1908 highlights that Williams has far too much competition in Nottingham Forest’s squad, as he only played for 507 minutes this season.

That may be a reason for the Tricky Trees to accept a loan, although their stance is also not reported by the story.

Nottingham Forest spent €20m to sign Williams from Liverpool back in the summer of 2022. Right now, he’s valued by Transfermarkt at €17m, and that sounds like a high fee for Feyenoord to attempt a permanent move, at least in January.
