On June 20th, Il Messaggero reported Everton are one of the clubs to have shown interest in AS Roma’s Edoardo Bove.

A day later, Corriere della Sera stated the midfielder and Roma striker Tammy Abraham are fascinated by the idea of moving to the Premier League this summer.

As well as Everton, Fiorentina are looking at Bove to bolster their midfield next season. That’s according to Firenze Viola, who state La Viola like the 22-year-old.

The Italian featured regularly under José Mourinho, but his situation has changed after the Portuguese tactician was replaced by Daniele De Rossi earlier this year.

Bove would not have an important role under De Rossie next season. Therefore, he could leave Roma this summer. The Giallorossi are willing to let him leave for €20m, but this is too high for Fiorentina.

In addition to the asking price, Fiorentina have to ‘be careful’ about the competition from the Premier League, where ‘especially Everton’ are keen on signing Bove.

Roma are owned by the Friedkin Group and they are potentially looking to take over the Merseyside club. This could give Everton an edge over Bove’s other interested parties to sign him this summer.
