Arsenal are one of several clubs to have been regularly credited with an interest in Noa Lang.

The winger revealed he wants to leave Club Brugge after this season. On January 22nd, Het Belang van Limburg stated the Gunners have long been following him and the Jupiler Pro League winners are ‘getting ready’ to cash in from their star’s sale in the summer.

A month later, De Standaard explained the Netherlands international’s sale in the next window is a ‘forgone conclusion’ and a club like Arsenal is ‘minimum’ for him.

These claims are now reiterated by Club Brugge legend and Het Nieuwsblad analyst, Gert Verheyen. He was discussing impact of Lang and his compatriot, Tarik Tissoudali, at Club Brugge and Gent respectively.

Lang has eight goals and 12 assists in all competitions this season and Verheyen says the attacker has an ‘big X-factor’. The ex-Belgium international is of the belief the attacker will not look at a mid-table side like Brighton & Hove Albion, when looking to change clubs.

“It is difficult to predict whether he will also achieve the very highest – which he aspires to. He will not dream of clubs like Brighton. But the question is whether clubs like Arsenal or Tottenham will come this summer,” Verheyen told Het Nieuwsblad.

Meanwhile, Jeunes Footeux have a report stating that Mikel Arteta’s side ‘keep an eye on Noa Lang’.

It’s said Lang is ‘closely watched’ by Leicester City and ‘especially Arsenal’, with the latter monitoring the player for ‘several months’. Club Brugge, for their part, would be expecting around €35-40m to let the former Ajax man leave in the next window.
