Leeds United are interested in Charles De Ketelaere and continue to push to sign the Club Brugge star this summer.

Two days ago, reports in Italy indicated the Whites have joined AC Milan in the chase for the forward.

These claims were further backed up by two different sources in Belgium on Friday. It was stated Jesse Marsch’s side are looking at the 21-year-old as a potential candidate to replace Raphinha.

The Brazilian wants to join Barcelona, while Arsenal and a few other Premier League sides are also showing interest in him.

RTL Sport journalist Alexandre Braeckman took to Twitter to explain that Leeds, Milan and Leicester City are in the mix to sign the Belgium international. He also stated the Whites are studying the possibility of tabling a €40m bid for him.

Braeckman has provided the latest update on Leeds’ chances of landing De Ketelaere. The journalist states the English club have an interest in the player, but his entourage have ‘let Leeds know’ they are not interested in a move to the club in the ongoing window.

That, however, has not seen Marsch’s side end their interest in the attacker. Braeckman adds Leeds are ‘still pushing’ to sign De Ketelaere, but the ‘track is getting colder very quickly’. Leeds, for now, haven’t offered €40m to Club Brugge for their prized asset.
