For a while now, the only club to have been linked with a move for Samuel Iling-Junior has been Tottenham, but Newcastle United are now being thrown in the mix.
This comes courtesy of Corriere dello Sport, who have an article on Juventus’ plans for the January transfer window, which hopefully includes selling the England U21 international.
Seemingly a part of Max Allegri’s plans going into the season, the 20-year-old has seen his role reduced, which is why Premier League sides, now including Newcastle, are keen on repatriating him in the coming weeks.
The newspaper explain that Juventus have ‘mandated some agents’ in a bid to get offers in, and are hoping they come from England.
It’s said he is ‘certainly liked’ by Newcastle and Spurs, but it’s stated the list is ‘destined to grow’.
Originally signed from Chelsea’s U18s back in 2020 for a fee of €130k, the young forward has grown in Italy for the past three years, earning himself 23 appearances for the Serie A side, scoring one goal and assisting another three along the way.
There is no mention of how much he would cost in this particular article, but previous reports have suggested Juventus would want somewhere between €20-25m for their player.
