On April 25th, TuttoMercatoWeb reported Tottenham Hotspur are working on offering a new contract to Giovani Lo Celso.
Earlier this month, CalcioNapoli24 stated the 28-year-old is evaluating all possibilities for his future, after Napoli showed interest in him.
The Argentina international has over a year left on his deal but ‘wants to leave’ Tottenham in the summer window. That’s according to Takvim, who explain that his agent has offered him to Beşiktaş.
Lo Celso has been restricted to less than 600 minutes from 23 games this season and his game time has drastically been reduced in the last few months. This has apparently convinced him to leave Spurs and the Turkish side could be an option for him next season.
Beşiktaş are in the market for a new midfielder and are currently evaluating the option to sign the South American, after he was proposed by an agent.
It’s claimed the Turkish club may make an offer for the Spurs player in the next window, as long they decide to go ahead with the deal and the conditions are met. The latter could be linked to the financial aspect of the operation.
Last month, we covered claims from Spain that explained Real Betis also have Lo Celso on their agenda.
