Rangers have set their sights on Oussama Targhalline and he’s ‘highly appreciated’ by Philippe Clement’s side.
That’s according to L’Equipe, who claim Rangers are among the clubs considering taking the 22-year-old away from Le Havre AC this summer.
Last summer, the midfielder joined the French club and signed a contract until 2025. The report says several clubs are closely monitoring his situation, ‘notably’ Rangers.
The Ligue 1 side have to balance their books before making new additions to their squad. They are currently working on renewing contracts of a few players, including Targhalline.
It’s claimed Le Havre have already sent a renewal offer to the Morocco U23 international, who is on the radar of Rangers, Marseille and other clubs from France and Italy.
Over at Foot Mercato, they also state Philippe Clement’s side are closely monitoring the player’s situation.
Le Havre haven’t received an offer from Rangers or another club so far. They are involved in discussions with Targhalline over renewing his contract, in order to stop his transfer this summer.
The Moroccan hasn’t accepted the renewal offer so far, which gives hope to Rangers and other interested parties.
