Edoardo Bove is on the verge of completing a move away from AS Roma but won’t be joining Nottingham Forest or Eintracht Frankfurt.
Instead, the midfielder will be joining Fiorentina, according to the latest from journalist Gianluca di Marzio.
The Roma midfielder has been linked with a move away throughout the summer as the Italian club have reshaped their squad for Daniele de Rossi.
Numerous clubs have been linked with a move for him and this week it has been Nottingham Forest, who have lost Danilo to a long-term injury.
They’ve been battling with Eintracht Frankfurt for Bove’s signature for days while also working to convince the midfielder, who really doesn’t want to leave Rome.
However, it seems neither Nottingham Forest nor Frankfurt will be getting him, as Di Marzio now reports Bove is heading to Fiorentina.
He’s set to join the Italian side on loan for €1.5m with a right to buy included at €10.5m. This right will become mandatory when he features in at least 60% of their games this season.
A deal is now seemingly done, and he’ll be remaining in Serie A this summer rather than heading to England with Nottingham Forest or Germany with Frankfurt.
