Chelsea supporters will be very used to rumours involving Jules Kounde, the defender has been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge since before he joined Barcelona.
Even since then there’s been claims the interest remains, and Catalan newspaper Sport appear to be clinging to that.
As is widely known, Barcelona have serious financial worries and they’re going to have to sell players this summer. Many have been considered, with another attempt to unsettle Frankie De Jong resulting in the midfielder making it clear he’s going nowhere.
Sport report the two most likely candidates for an exit are Kounde and Raphinha, and both have been linked to Chelsea.
The article concentrates on the defender, and it’s said he’s ‘on the radar’ at Chelsea, Manchester United and Liverpool.
Barcelona would happily ‘listen to a proposal’ from Chelsea or anyone else for that matter, and they’re looking to make around €60m from the defender’s exit.
That feels ambitious, and there’s every chance Sport are reporting what they want to be the case, in terms of interest from Chelsea and others, rather than what actually is at this moment in time.
