Tottenham could be presented with their chance to sign Omar Marmoush from Eintracht Frankfurt later in the summer, with a bid likely to be welcomed by the German side should it arrive.
That’s according to SportBILD, who report that Frankfurt would welcome a €50m offer were it to arrive, even if it was late in the window.
The newspaper explains that it’s likely to be a busy summer for Frankfurt, who need to replace several leaders in their squad and make up a deficit of €27m.
The expectation at the club is that the ‘transfer attacks’ will come from mid-August and Marmoush will be one of those who is targeted.
He has several suitors in England and the market in the Premier League is ‘slowly gaining momentum’ now that Euro 2024 is nearing its conclusion.
A ‘lucrative offer’ of at least €50m would be accepted almost immediately, even if it were to arrive late in the transfer window.
Tottenham are specifically named as one of the suitors for the striker and have been linked heavily with a move for the last few months.
Two reports in May had credited Tottenham with an interest in the forward and had been preceded by a report at the end of March that made it clear Eintracht Frankfurt were almost expecting them to make a bid at some point this summer.
That’s yet to happen but they now seem to be briefing, or at least making it clear publically that they’d accept a bid, even if it only arrived late.
