With Moussa Marega having a great season for Porto, it was just a matter of time until he was linked with Birtish sides again.
The striker has 11 goals and six assists in 19 matches for the Dragons this season, and that was enough to get some attention, according to Correio da Manhã.
The newspaper claims today that Swansea, Everton and West Ham were impressed with the five goals the player scored in the Champions League’s group stage.
Correio da Manhã writes that Marega has a €40m release clause, and this amount ‘doesn’t scare the English’ clubs.
They’ve clearly not realised Swansea is in Wales, but given the club are in the Championship, it’s safe to say they won’t be spending €40m on anyone anyway.
Everton, Swansea and West Ham have all been linked to Moussa Marega in the past couple of seasons.
His agent has even confirmed the interest from the Toffees earlier this year.
However, we haven’t seen clubs getting to an advanced stage to sign him.
Correio da Manhã is right when they say €40m isn’t a lot for English clubs, but we wonder if they would spend that much on a 27-year-old.
