Tottenham Hotspur’s Hugo Lloris has a deal until 2024 but that hasn’t stopped the Premier League side from reportedly looking for a top goalkeeper to edge him to one side.

The Frenchman has had mixed performances this season, which has seen Spurs linked to a few potential replacements.

AC Milan star Mike Maignan could be added to Tottenham’s list, if Fichajes.net is to be believed.

The 27-year-old has kept seven clean sheets and conceded 18 goals from 19 games this season, and is getting the plaudits he deserves. It’s claimed he’s ‘generating great interest’ from Spurs, who are closely following him in action for the Serie A side.

Tottenham would be interested in bringing the player to north London after this season. His deal lasts until 2026 and he’s valued at €35m, although that figure is from Transfermarkt and seems very much on the low side. It’s s not known the fee Milan would demand for him since they want him to continue at the San Siro.

If Spurs are keen to sign him, they will have to convince both the player and Milan for the transfer.

Tottenham got to take a closer look at Maignan during their goalless draw against Milan in the Champions League last month. The result helped them make it to the quarter-final, where the Rossoneri overcame Napoli to seal a berth in the last four of the competition.
