Nottingham Forest and Crystal Palace are in the picture to sign Trabzonspor’s Arseniy Batagov, according to Takvim.

The 23-year-old joined the Turkish club from Zorya Lugansk in August 2024 and struggled initially. He picked up multiple injuries, but still had 23 appearances in his first season.

Batagov’s situation has improved this season and he’s made 11 league starts already. His form has attracted interest from Nottingham Forest, Crystal Palace, Bologna and Lazio.

Takvim state the Premier League duo will continue to monitor the centre-back, who has a contract until 2028 with an option for another year.

It’s claimed Trabzonspor are reluctant to sell but will negotiate as long as they receive a convincing offer.

In short, Nottingham Forest and Crystal Palace have to table a bid high enough to start talks with Trabzonspor for Batagov.

Taka Gazete are also reporting Nottingham Forest and Crystal Palace interest.

They add Sean Dyche’s side and the FA Cup winners watched him live in action against Galatasaray. The league match ended in a goalless draw on November 1st and Batagov played the full 90 minutes.

A few days later, the Ukrainian suffered a muscle injury and is still on the sidelines.

Taka say €15m is the key figure for Nottingham Forest and Crystal Palace.
