German newspaper Bild have had a look at the potential incomings and outgoings for Bundesliga clubs this summer, and Tottenham Hotspur feature more than most potential destinations.

In Europe there’s a feeling that Tottenham as a club are motoring forward, and that will include strengthening Mauricio Pochettino’s squad. Add to that the assumption that Premier League clubs, and especially those qualified for the Champions League, are rolling in money, and Spurs are a prime transfer destination.

Bild have picked out Tottenham as ‘prospective customers’ for three Bundesliga transfers. That’s not because they’re playing at being a White Hart Lane director of football, but more they believe there’s genuine Tottenham interest in the players mentioned.

First up is Maximilian Philipp. The 23 year old SC Freiburg player is lined up for a transfer at €14m. Able to play as a centre forward, or out wide, Maximilian has been linked to Spurs previously, and Bild say Borussia Dortmund are also keen.

Next we have Max Meyer, with Tottenham once again named as Schalke’s hope for a transfer. Interestingly, the stated price is now €16m, which could prove to be a bargain.

Meyer, 21 years of age, didn’t have a good Schalke season, but the club were under a huge depression. Everything was going wrong, man management seemed very poor, and Meyer was one of several very talented players who the club encouraged stick towards.

If there was one manager who could be considered perfect for the several time capped German international, then Mauricio Pochettino could be that man. An attacking midfielder, down the left or through the middle, Meyer could fill some opening gaps at Tottenham.

He wouldn’t be nailed on for a starting place, but at 21 years of age and €16m, it all fits into place.

Finally, Bild push forward Karim Bellarabi at a price of €30m. At 27 years of age, it just seems a very un-Tottenham idea. Arsenal are also credited with interest in the Bayer Leverkusen player.
