Manchester City have been linked with moves for both Andrea Cambiaso and Douglas Luiz over the past week or so.

As the Citizens look to bolster their squad, both the Juventus players are seen as profiles that can help them in the remainder of the season.

A massive claim about Manchester City has been made by TuttoSport today, with the outlet stating that ‘€100m can arrive’ from the Etihad in the ongoing January transfer window.

Pep Guardiola’s side will offer a fee of around €65m for Cambiaso and the feeling is that Juventus sporting director Cristiano Guintoli wants around €75m for a sale. He would also prefer to sell the Italian in the summer.

Then there is the case of Douglas Luiz, who cost Juve €50m in the summer. Manchester City want him on a dry loan deal, but that idea is ‘unwelcome’ in Turin. They want a permanent sale only and require €40m.

The Citizens have tested the waters for the Brazilian already but the asking price has been made clear to them.

The outlet state Juve’s belief is that a total of €100m can arrive from the English champions, as Guardiola continues to study moves for the remainder of the January transfer window.

It feels rather optimistic on behalf of Juventus.
