Chelsea are lurking for Inter Milan’s Denzel Dumfries and Cesare Casadei in the summer window

That’s according to today’s Gazzetta dello Sport, who explain the duo are aware of the Blues’ interest as their agents have received ‘more than one call’ from the west London club.

The right wing-back and the 19-year-old are informed about Chelsea’s ‘desire to sink the blow’ to secure their services. The Serie A side are also aware of this.

Inter consider the duo non-transferable from the sporting point of view, but they must also consider the financial side. The San Siro club would be ‘forced to seriously consider’ selling Dumfries if they receive an offer over €50m.

For Casadei, Chelsea have already made an official proposal of €8m to convince the Nerazzurri. Gazzetta state the Premier League side’s offer for the teenage midfielder was rejected.

Inter would like to include a buyback option as part of the deal and this possibility is not feasible for a top club like Chelsea. If Thomas Tuchel’s side want Casadei, they will have to ‘double the offer’.

The Italian is also liked by other Serie A sides and they could buy him for a reasonable price by guaranteeing to include a buyback clause.

The report also states ‘from England’, there is talk about Chelsea planning a sensational ‘all in’ deal to sign Dumfries, Casadei and Milan Škriniar for almost €14m. Gazzetta state ‘it sounds like fantasy football, but only time will tell.’
