Sergio Reguilon didn’t quite make the impact at Tottenham Hotspur that was hoped for after he joined from Real Madrid, and he’s part of the club’s current persona non grata section.
The defender spent the first half of last season on loan at Manchester United and was then loaned out to Brentford.
AS now report that the Spanish left-back is a target for Turkish side Galatasaray.
We have previously looked at comments from Galatasaray journalist Mustafa Özgür Sancar about the Turkish side’s interest in Reguilon and AS seem much more confident.
Galatasaray are ‘dreaming’ of the move and believe that Reguilon could aid them in the Champions League.
Spurs and Gala have been involved in two deals in the recent past, as Tottenham dispensed with Tanguy Ndombele and Davinson Sanchez. As a result, the relationship between the two clubs is said to be great.
The move for the Spaniard would only go through if Gala manage to move on a foreign player, so that the Tottenham man occupies a foreign player quota.
The Turkish side are being linked with a handful of left-backs right now, so it’s certainly an area they want to improve in.
