Three days ago, Belgian newspaper Het Laatste Nieuws reported Borussia Dortmund are interested in signing Liverpool striker Divock Origi.

It was claimed the Reds were demanding €30m for the attacker, but the German side were unwilling to meet the Merseyside club’s asking price.

The same publication now reports Lucien Favre’s side are gambling on several players and the list includes the likes of the Belgium international and Barcelona’s Paco Alcacer.

Jurgen Klopp is ready to allow the former Lille man leave Anfield, but the €30m price tag has been a hindrance for the Bundesliga side to close the deal.

HLN goes on to mention the two clubs are on ‘speaking terms’ for Origi, who still has two years left on his current deal at Anfield.

The Premier League club want to cash in from his sale, but a compromise is being sought, claims the report. Liverpool will allow Origi join Dortmund, if they take him on loan with an obligation to sign him on permanent transfer.
