It appears that Leicester City are on the verge of making a lovely profit on a player who has never played for them.
That man is Kamal Sowah, who had been on loan at OH Leuven over the past three years and recently returned after a great first season in the Jupiler Pro League.
Picking up eight goals and six assists from midfield, the young Ghanaian is going to stay in Belgium, as journalist Gary Al-Smith is reporting a transfer has been agreed with Club Brugge.
He says the affair is a ‘done deal’, and the player will move to the Belgian side permanently, with the fee being €9m + add ons, which will be a ‘club record transfer’ for them.
Sowah arrived from the Right to Dream Academy in Ghana back in 2018 before immediately being sent on loan to OH Leuven, where he developed greatly, first in the second tier, the Proximus League, before ending up being a regular starter last year following their promotion.
