Sevilla director of football Victor Orta has refused to be drawn on a potential move for Leicester City midfielder Boubakary Soumaré.
The Spanish has been speaking at a press conference to announce new signings Orjen Nyland and Dodi Lukebakio when the subject of other transfers was brought up according to Diario de Sevilla.
Sevilla have been busy reshaping their squad this summer after a disappointing season last year in which they battled against relegation in the league.
While several signings have arrived, they continue to work before the end of the window and Soumaré is one of the names that has been consistently linked.
He’s seemingly keen to move on from Leicester following their relegation from the Premier League last season and Sevilla are interested in taking advantage of that fact.
A report earlier this month claimed that a bid had already been lodged with the Foxes and he was keen on the switch.
That was followed by a report indicating there was confidence at Sevilla a deal could be done for the midfielder, and they would push to make it happen.
That’s led to the subject being brought up in questions to Orta, but he’s refused to be drawn on the subject of the Leicester man.
“We have to keep an eye on all the lines, on players who can give added value,” he said.
“There are many names, and we just have to keep an eye on the market to make the best operations, whatever demarcation they are.”
